Ian White

Ian White currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Houston ISD, a position held since July 2023. Previously, from July 2012 to June 2022, Ian White was the Principal of Brazosport High School, where notable achievements included achieving a "B" rating and securing three TEA Academic Distinctions post-COVID, as well as hosting significant county-wide events. Prior to that role, Ian White was the Principal of Freeport Intermediate School, leading the school to receive five national accolades and multiple Texas Education Agency Academic Distinctions. Ian White began the career at Tenaha Schools from July 2007 to June 2012, as Director of Plant Operations and Coach, overseeing district operations and leading the varsity football team to a state championship. Ian White holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor of Science in Math and Kinesiology from Harding University.
