Karen Kelly Thomas

Karen Kelly Thomas has extensive experience in HR data analytics and systems, currently serving as the Director of HR Data Analytics & Systems at Houston ISD since May 2013, after previously holding the position of Sr. Manager, HRIS. Prior to this role, Karen was the HRIS Manager at Charming Charlie from May 2011 to May 2013, responsible for HR data management and team oversight. Between June 2003 and May 2011, Karen worked as a Project Manager at Kronos, Inc., where responsibilities included managing the implementation of Human Capital Management systems. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge, earned between 1980 and 1984.
