Mweete Patrick Kasimba

Mweete Patrick Kasimba is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in fixed assets and capital project accounting. Currently serving as Senior Accounting Manager at Houston ISD since September 2013, Mweete has successfully delivered accurate budget forecasts and expense analyses for district construction projects, while also managing year-end result reviews. Previous roles include Senior Accountant and Accountant within Houston ISD, where Mweete oversaw bond-funded capital construction projects and facilitated timely vendor payments. Prior experience at the Ministry of Finance in Zambia involved supervising a team in the VAT and Customs Duty office, authoring standard operating procedures, and processing tax rebate claims.
