Amanda Kirkham

Amanda Kirkham is currently serving as a Staff Chaplain at Houston Methodist since December 2024, following a role as Chaplain Resident at the same institution from September 2023 to August 2024. Prior to transitioning into ministry, Amanda gained extensive experience in the corporate sector, having worked as an Audit Advisor at EOG Resources from October 2010 to March 2022 and as a Senior Manager at Protiviti from February 2004 to September 2010. Amanda also held the position of Quality/Process Analyst at GE Vetco Gray from June 2002 to January 2004. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and a Master of Divinity from Southern Methodist University, along with studies at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Additionally, Amanda has experience in pastoral care through an internship at West University United Methodist Church from September 2022 to June 2023.
