Mary Mahoney

Mary Mahoney, EdD, BCC, currently serves as a Staff Chaplain at Legacy Health since May 2016, providing spiritual care to patients, families, and staff with a focus on Dignity Therapy, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse. Previously, Mary worked as a Chaplain Fellow in Mental Health for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, addressing the spiritual and psychoeducational needs of Veterans. Experience includes a Chaplain Resident position at Texas Health Resources. Educational background includes an EdD in Educational Leadership from Seattle University, an MRE in Theology from Loyola University New Orleans, a BA and BS in Religious Studies and Applied Psychology from Regis University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Jewish Learning from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
