Tanikka Rawls

Tanikka Rawls, JD, has extensive experience in legal and contract management roles, currently serving as Manager of Research Contracts at Houston Methodist since 2015, where previous roles included Lead Research Contract Analyst and Senior Contract Analyst. Prior experience includes a fellowship at the City of Houston Legal Department, focusing on complex utility regulatory issues, as well as serving as a Student Attorney at the University of Houston Civil Practice Clinic, handling civil cases in various family law matters. Additional roles include working as a Law Clerk in the Family Violence Division at the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office and interning at Minkah-Premo & Co. Legal, Investment & Property Consultants. Rawls earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center and a BA in Political Science from Morgan State University.
