Producer For The Burke Baker Planetarium at Houston Museum of Natural Science

Adam Barnes has over two decades of experience in producing and animating educational content for planetariums, currently serving as Producer for the Burke Baker Planetarium at the Houston Museum of Natural Science since September 2010. In this role, Adam has directed and animated numerous public planetarium shows, reaching over 180,000 patrons annually, while leading a production team in creating diverse content covering topics such as astronomy, earth science, and anthropology. Previously, Adam held positions at the same museum as Director of Animation and Computer Graphic Artist, where contributions included the production and marketing of Full-Dome planetarium movies and animations. Earlier experience includes working as a Library Specialist and Data Manager at NASA JSC, focusing on database management for the International Space Station Library. Adam holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Animation from The Art Institutes, completed in 2001.
