Joe Smilari

Joe Smilari is the Controller at the Houston Texans. Joe was previously with Bank of America from January 2015 to December 2019, where they served as Consumer & GWIM Banking. Joe also served as Vice President, CFO at VIP Sports & Entertainment from January 2013 to December 2014, and as Vice President at the Washington Redskins from January 2006 to December 2013. Joe began their career in event management at Octagon from January 2004 to December 2005, before moving on to L3 Technologies as an analyst from January 2005 to December 2006.

Joe Smilari attended Paul VI High School before completing their undergraduate studies at James Madison University with a degree in international studies. Joe then worked in finance for a few years before deciding to pursue their MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
