Matt Van Dyke

Matt Van Dyke is an experienced professional in the field of sports science and strength conditioning, currently serving as the Director of Sports Science for the Houston Texans since April 2020. Prior to this role, Matt held positions including Associate Director of Applied Sports Science at The University of Texas at Austin and Associate Director of Sports Performance at the University of Denver, where responsibilities included overseeing strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports. Matt started in strength and conditioning at the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and has also worked at St. Cloud State University, where duties included coaching for various teams. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Iowa State University.
