Vic Shuttee

Vic Shuttee is an accomplished entertainment reporter at Houston Press since January 2014, focusing on interviews and articles that spotlight Houston's vibrant entertainment scene. Vic also serves as Co-Chair of the Texas Improv Challenge, leading workshops for students and coordinating an extensive improv competition. As a cast member with The Dinner Detective, Vic performs in murder mystery dinner shows and has experience as an associate producer for a comedy show spanning multiple cities. Additional roles include mentoring playwrights, teaching at Texas State University, providing script coverage for new plays, and contributing to comedy reviews and editorials. Vic holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Texas State University and a BFA in Playwriting and Dramaturgy from the University of Houston.
