Brian Wood

Brian Wood has a strong background in technology and information systems spanning over 20 years. Brian started their career at Intermedix as Vice President of Information Systems, where they were responsible for system administration, network architecture, and software development. In 2008, Brian joined Iberon, LLC. as the Chief Information Officer, overseeing all aspects of information technology. Brian later moved on to Enterprise Products, where they worked as a Senior Systems Specialist and Senior Full Stack Developer on contract. Currently, Brian is at Houston Public Media, where they hold the position of Senior Director of Technology Operations and previously served as the Director of IT Support.

Brian Wood attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Electrical and Computer Engineering. Brian obtained a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2021, Brian Wood obtained the (ISC)2 Security CISSP certification from (ISC)². Brian also holds the Amateur Radio Operator (Extra Class) certification from the Federal Communications Commission, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
