As the Principal of Michele Damato Design since 2006, Michele focuses on developing strategic design solutions through design research, brand identity creation, and complex communication systems. With extensive experience in academia, Michele has held various teaching roles at institutions such as James Madison University, Monmouth University, and Syracuse University, among others. Michele's earlier career includes significant positions such as Senior Art Director at Marjorie Gross and Company, where responsibilities encompassed the development of corporate collateral and brand identities. Michele holds a Master of Science in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute and furthered education through a Master Class with David Carson at the School of Visual Arts, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Iona University.
