Shannon Harrison

Harrison Shannon has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Harrison, started their career in 2000 as a Studio Crew member at KVUE-TV. In 2001, they joined Houston Public Media, where they worked in various roles. Harrison, began as a Production Crew/Audio Specialist, supporting the crew in multiple aspects of production. Harrison, then became a Maintenance Engineer, responsible for maintaining and acquiring equipment for radio and television production. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director of Production Operations at Houston Public Media. Additionally, Harrison has also worked as a Freelance Production Crew member at KHOU 11.

Harrison Shannon attended the University of Houston from 1990 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio & TV, with a minor in History.
