Jacob Kauffman

Jacob Kauffman is an experienced professional in sports analytics and business strategy, currently serving as a Customer Relationship Management Business Analyst with the Houston Rockets since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jacob held an apprenticeship in Business Strategy & Analytics with the Houston Astros. As Co-Founder and President of the Rice Sport Analytics Team, Jacob led initiatives to provide analytics for Rice University's athletic teams and organized professional development opportunities for undergraduates. Additional experiences include serving as a Senior Admissions Interviewer at Rice University, interning as a Business Analyst at Lucra Sports and Machete Group, and holding leadership positions within the Rice Basketball Analytics Group and the Rice Undergraduate Investment Fund. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Sport Analytics from Rice University.
