Matthew Caldwell

Matthew Caldwell is an experienced professional in sports marketing and communication. Currently serving as the Email Marketing Coordinator for the Houston Rockets since February 2024, Caldwell previously worked as a Battle Red Marketing and Events Ambassador for the Houston Texans from October 2023 to January 2024. Prior to that role, Caldwell held various positions at The Daily Texan, including Associate Sports Editor, Sports Desk Editor, Senior Sports Reporter, and General Sports Reporter from January 2022 to May 2023. Additionally, Caldwell gained experience as a Brand Leadership Intern at Professional Sports Partners from September to December 2022. Caldwell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in May 2023, and graduated from Houston Christian High School in May 2019.
