Okpara Young

Okpara Young is the current Director of IT & Telecommunications at the Houston Rockets. Okpara started their career in 1998 as an IT Client Services Analyst at Cingular Wireless and held that position until 2006. In their current role, Okpara is responsible for leading the IT and telecommunications team at the Houston Rockets.

Okpara Young has an MBA in Business from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and an MIS in Information Systems from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Okpara also went to Morehouse College.

They are on a team with and Kristen Harper - Senior Director, Human Resources. Okpara Young reports to Larry Kaiser, VP Finance.
