Meghan McKay

Head Athletic Trainer, Baylor Medicine at Houston SaberCats Rugby

Meghan McKay is an accomplished sports medical professional currently serving as the Head of Medical and Head Athletic Trainer for Houston SaberCats Rugby since March 2017. In addition to these roles, Meghan is an Adjunct Faculty member at Lebanon Valley College, teaching the Prevention and Care of Emergency Medical Conditions for the Masters in Athletic Training Program since June 2022. Meghan also works as a Senior Athletic Trainer in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Baylor College of Medicine since November 2014, and serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Wales Men's National Lacrosse Team since July 2010, where responsibilities include managing team medical care and injury management. Prior experience includes roles at AOKC, Rice University, Salisbury University, and Texas State University. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education in Physical Education from Texas State University and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Central Michigan University.
