Adam Dinitz

Adam Dinitz is an accomplished musician and educator with significant experience in oboe performance and orchestral leadership. Since December 2020, Adam has served as Vice President of the American Federation of Musicians Local 65-699. Adam has been a member of the Houston Symphony as Solo English Horn since September 2007 and is also a faculty member at the University of Houston since September 2014. Adam's previous positions include Acting Solo English Horn/Third Oboe with the San Francisco Symphony, English Horn with The Florida Orchestra, and Second Oboe with Sarasota Orchestra. Adam holds a Master of Music in Oboe performance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Music in Oboe performance from Northwestern University.
