Emily Klein

Emily Klein serves as the Artist in Residence at Houston Methodist since June 2023, where the integration of harp music promotes artistic encounters and well-being for patients, caregivers, and clinicians. In addition, Emily Klein is an Orchestra Adjunct Harp Instructor at The Kinkaid School and a Harp Teaching Artist at Kinder High School, positions held since October 2021 and August 2016, respectively. With a long-standing commitment to music education, Emily Klein also works as a Harp Faculty Artist at the American Festival of the Arts Texas, Principal Harp at Opera in the Heights, and maintains a private harp studio. Emily Klein has contributed as a substitute musician for the Houston Symphony and San Antonio Symphony and held roles as Principal Harp for the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes and Harp Instructor at Dulles Middle School. Emily Klein's academic background includes a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance, both from Rice University.
