Joel James

Joel James is an experienced Human Resources professional with a robust background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Human Resources Director at Houston Symphony since June 2017, Joel has previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at Associated Terminals from June 2008 to June 2013, and worked as Human Resources Manager at The Valspar Corporation Ltda between June 2004 and June 2008. Earlier experience includes a role in Human Resources at Cooper Industries Ltd. from June 2001 to June 2004. Joel holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Services and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, both from Louisiana State University.
