Houston Symphony
Maxine Kuo is an accomplished violinist with extensive experience in prominent orchestras. Currently serving as a substitute and contract violinist with the Houston Symphony since October 2014, Kuo has previously held the position of Assistant Concertmaster with the Louisville Orchestra from January 2009 to June 2011 and worked as a Professional Itinerant with The World between June 2011 and December 2012. Kuo's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music from The Juilliard School, attained from 2000 to 2006, along with training at the Houston High School for Performing and Visual Arts and Walnut Hill School.
