Cynthia Walker

Cynthia Walker serves as an independent director of Sempra Energy.  She also previously served as senior vice president of marketing, midstream operations, and development at Occidental Petroleum Corporation. She led Occidental’s crude oil and natural gas marketing efforts and midstream operations. Prior to this role, Cynthia served as senior vice president of strategy and development at Occidental and executive vice president and CFO. Prior to joining Occidental, she was a managing director in investment banker with Goldman Sachs, where she worked for over 12 years. She received her BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998.
