Ana Vilela

Ana Vilela is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the PMO Group Leader for the Supply Chain at Hovione Portugal since April 2015. In this role, Ana manages a team of 11 project managers, contributes to the development of PMO processes and methodologies, and ensures project alignment with strategic goals. Previous experience includes senior project management roles in both R&D and new product introduction across various Hovione locations, where Ana consistently monitored and controlled project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. A holder of a PhD in Chemistry/Pharmaceuticals from Paris-Sud University and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Ana has a strong academic foundation that complements extensive practical expertise in project management and product development.
