Andrea Messina has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Andrea started their career as a Quality Control Chemist at West-Ward Pharmaceuticals in 2008, where they performed analytical testing and validated electronic test methods for pharmaceutical batches. Andrea then worked as an Investigations Specialist, conducting thorough laboratory investigations and preparing trending reports for corrective and preventative actions. Andrea later became a Senior Manager, overseeing the QC Laboratory and ensuring data integrity and compliance with cGMP regulations. Andrea also served as the Senior Manager for Quality Investigations, managing site investigations and implementing proper corrective actions. In 2018, Andrea joined Hovione as the Quality Control Director, where they are responsible for directing all QC site activities and ensuring adherence to cGMP regulations, as well as managing the stability program and analytical method transfers and validations.
Andrea Messina attended Monmouth University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
