Inês Mariano Lourenço

Inês Mariano Lourenço is an Associate Process Engineer at Hovione since April 2022, specializing in the validation of analytical methods and chromatography techniques, including HPLC, UPLC, and GC, alongside proficiency in various software such as Empower and LIMS. Prior experience includes a role as a Researcher/Trainee at BioTask, Biotecnologia Lda./ FCT-UNL from October 2019 to July 2021, focusing on the production and development of biopolymers and fucose-based structures for bioremediation applications. Inès also completed a trainee internship at Hovione in July 2016, and served as a monitor for science holiday camps at Science4you from 2013 to 2016, enhancing skills in coordination and responsibility. Inês holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, attained in 2018.
