Joe Fedewa is a Staff Writer at How-To Geek. He has been covering consumer technology for over a decade and previously worked as a News Editor at XDA-Developers. Joe loves all things technology and is also an avid DIYer at heart. He has written thousands of articles, hundreds of tutorials, and dozens of reviews.

Joe got his start in the industry covering Windows Phone on a small blog. He was then brought on at Phandroid where he covered Android news, reviewed devices, wrote tutorials, created YouTube videos, and hosted a podcast. Before joining How-To Geek, Joe worked at XDA-Developers as Managing Editor and covered news from the Google ecosystem.

From smartphones to Bluetooth earbuds to Z-Wave switches, Joe is interested in all kinds of technology. The first gadget he ever purchased on his own was an Apple iPod Touch 2nd Generation. After several years of jailbreaking and heavy modification, he moved on to his first smartphone, the HTC DROID Eris. He's been hooked ever since.

Outside of technology, Joe is an avid DIYer, runner, and food enthusiast. Joe loves to "geek out" about a lot of things. If something piques his interest, he will dive into it headfirst and try to learn as much as possible. Joe brings that same passion to How-To Geek.
