Alicia Sams is an Emmy award-winning independent Director and Producer with extensive experience in long-form documentaries, documentary series, and fiction features since 1992. Currently serving as a Limited Partner at How Women Invest, a venture firm focused on women founders, Alicia has also led the Pritzker Fellows Program at the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago from 2015 to 2023, overseeing program design and community engagement. Previous roles include Director of the Speakers Program at Teton Valley Ranch Camp, a Board Member at BYkids, and various positions in documentary film production with Pivotal Pictures and Roadie Pictures. Alicia holds a BA in English and American Literature from Harvard University and graduated from Sidwell Friends School.
