Chris Heady

Chris Heady is a versatile professional with extensive experience in graphic design, puppetry, and video production. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer and Mascot Specialist at Howard County Library System, Chris created the library mascot ‘Booker the Owl’ and produced illustrations for marketing initiatives. Previous roles include Board Member at Puppeteers of America, Library Associate I at Carroll County Public Library, and Director for WildBrain, where Chris directed a children’s web series. Chris has also worked as a Teaching Artist in puppetry, Associate Digital Puppeteer with The Hershey Company, actor at NBC Universal Studios, and as a puppeteer at Walt Disney World. Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing and Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design.
