Christie Lassen

Christie Lassen has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Christie began their career at the Capital Area Food Bank of DC in 1989, where they served as the Development Director until 1992. Christie then worked as the Manager of Fund Raising Programs at Red Butte Garden, University of Utah from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they joined the YMCA of Greater El Paso as the Vice President for Membership and Public Relations from 1996 to 1998. In 1999, Christie became the Development Director at the Lutheran Volunteer Corps, and in 2001, they joined the Howard County Library System as the Director of Public Relations. Christie later transitioned into the role of Director of Communications and Partnerships in the same organization in 2017. Throughout their career, Christie has demonstrated their expertise in communications, public relations, and development.
