Sophie Barber

Sophie Barber is a dedicated legal professional with experience in real estate law, legal administration, and legal research. Currently serving as a Real Estate Paralegal at Howard Kennedy LLP since October 2022, Sophie has previously held roles at Photiades Solicitors, where responsibilities included client communication and case management, and a legal internship with Lawyers In Local Government, focusing on housing, planning, and family law research. Additional legal exposure includes a placement at Mishcon de Reya LLP, conducting research in the immigration department and a pro bono project, as well as shadowing barristers at 25 Bedford Row. Sophie is also recognized for founding the Childfare campaign, which advocated for fair fares for under-18s, receiving media attention and nominations for awards. Academically, Sophie holds a GDL in Law from The University of Law and a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Nottingham.
