Samantha Phillips FCIPD has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Samantha started their career as an HR Placement Student at Babcock International Group PLC in 2002. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as an HR Assistant at Scientifics ltd. Samantha then joined Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions as an HR Advisor from 2005 to 2007, followed by a role as an HR Advisor at AMEC from 2007 to 2008.
In 2009, Samantha became an HR Manager at Lincoln Electric, where they were responsible for various HR functions and implementation of HR initiatives. Samantha then moved to Caterpillar Inc. - Building Construction Products (BCP) as an HR Business Partner from 2014 to 2016.
From 2016 to 2019, Samantha worked as an HR Manager at ForFarmers N.V., where they managed the HR team and acted as a strategic business partner. Their responsibilities included implementing strategic HR initiatives, succession planning, talent management, and implementing Workday across multiple countries.
Currently, Samantha holds the position of Head of People at Howard Tenens Logistics, starting from 2019. In this role, they work with the Board of Directors to embed business and people strategies throughout the organization, manages extensive change, and leads the People Function to ensure growth and development for all aspects of the business.
Throughout their career, Samantha has focused on implementing HR processes, managing HR initiatives, and supporting business objectives within various industries.
Samantha Phillips FCIPD completed their education in a chronological order. Samantha started by attending Bablake School in Coventry from 1993 to 2000. Samantha then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Derby from 2000 to 2004. Later, they furthered their education at the University of Doncaster, obtaining a CIPD certification in Human Resource Management from 2007 to 2009.
