Carlos A. Vargas

Carlos A. Vargas, IPMA-CP, is an accomplished human resources professional with significant leadership experience in various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Howard University Hospital, Carlos previously held the Vice President of Human Resources and Technology position at Adventist HealthCare and was the Chief Human Resources Officer for the City of Rockville. With a background as the Chief Labor Relations Negotiator and Division Chief for Management Services at Montgomery County Government and as a Senior Human Resources Specialist for the National Park Service, Carlos brings a wealth of expertise to human resource management. Education includes an MBA in Human Resources from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
