Ben Carmichael

Ben Carmichael has a range of work experience in various financial and compliance roles. Ben is currently working as the Associate Director for Compliance at Howard University. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at Winston-Salem State University from 2015 to 2021, where they were responsible for overseeing financial aid processes and ensuring compliance with regulations. Before that, they worked at Guilford College as the Assistant Director of Student Financial Services and later as a Student Financial Services Counselor. Ben also has experience as a Financial Aid Counselor at ECPI University and as a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.

Ben Carmichael completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Campbell University in 2004. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from Appalachian State University, which they completed in 2002.
