Janice Brown Parker

Janice Brown Parker is an experienced professional in the field of speech-language pathology, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Parent SPA, LLC in Washington, DC since August 2004, where the focus is on enhancing parental involvement in clinical processes related to speech, language, and hearing issues. In addition, Janice has worked as a Speech Pathologist for the District of Columbia Public Schools since August 1987, providing diagnostic evaluations and intervention services. Janice also holds the position of Clinical Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at Howard University since January 2013, overseeing clinical activities in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Janice's educational background includes a Master's degree in Speech Pathology from the University of the District of Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from South Carolina State University.
