Leslie A. Deane

Leslie A. Deane is currently serving as Professor and Chief of the Division of Urology at Howard University since October 2023. Prior to this role, Leslie held various academic positions, including Professor and Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine from July 2018 to June 2023. At Rush University Medical Center, Leslie served as Associate Professor of Urology from August 2013 to March 2018 and previously worked as Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2007 to July 2013. Leslie's academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Clinical Research from RUSH University (2016), a Fellowship in Urology from the University of Toronto (2005), a medical degree (MB.BS) from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus Barbados (1998), and foundational education from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus (1996) and Queen's College Barbados (1993).
