Pamela A.G. Clarke has a range of work experience in research and academia. Pamela A.G. began their career at Howard University in 2006 as a Teaching Assistant and also served as a Genetics Instructor. During this time, they conducted research on breast cancer, investigating the expression and function of the Melanoma Inhibitory Activity (MIA) protein. Pamela A.G. used various techniques such as RT-PCR, Western Blot Analysis, and Immunocytochemistry. Additionally, they explored the potential role of MIA as a tumor marker for breast cancer progression. In 2011, they joined Georgetown University as a Graduate Student, focusing on projects related to the Unfolded Protein Response (UPR) signaling, autophagy, and antiestrogen resistant breast cancer. Finally, they returned to Howard University in 2015 as a Program Manager and subsequently took on the role of Director of Research Development in 2018.

Pamela A.G. also has a Master of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a focus on Cancer Research, also from Howard University. Additionally, they have a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University.
