Lauren Wooder

Lauren Wooder has a diverse work experience in corporate communications and events. Lauren currently holds the position of Corporate Communications Director at Howden Group Holdings. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Corporate Communications & Events at Howden Broking Group. Lauren also served as the Group Head of Events and Hospitality and the Group Head of Events at Howden Group Holdings. Before joining Howden, Lauren worked at RBC as a Communications Manager and Communications Adviser. Lauren started their career at Bell Media, where they held the roles of Corporate Communications Coordinator and Corporate Communications Intern. Lauren also gained experience as a Student at Humber College.

Lauren Wooder began their education journey in 1997 when they attended The Bishop Strachan School, where they obtained a High School Diploma in 2004. Continuing their studies, Lauren then enrolled at the University of St Andrews from 2004 to 2007 and earned a Sub-Honours degree in Economics, International Relations, and Mathematics.

In 2009, Lauren pursued higher education at the University of Toronto - University of Trinity College. Here, they completed a three-year Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts (HBA) program in Economics, International Relations, and Political Science, graduating in 2011.

Seeking further specialization, Lauren attended Humber College in 2012, where they completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Relations.

To expand their professional qualifications, Lauren enrolled in the Canadian Securities Institute in 2014 for the Canadian Securities Course.

Lastly, in 2016 and 2018, Lauren pursued their interest in marketing by obtaining a Diploma in Professional Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
