Richard Hughes

Richard Hughes has over 28 years of work experience in the IT industry. Richard is currently working at Howden Group Holdings as the Head of Infrastructure Projects, responsible for delivering and managing the availability and support of international on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Previously, they held the position of Head of Design & Delivery at SCC, where they led the evolution and development of the Design & Delivery function. Richard also worked at Mashreq as the Head of Infrastructure, Head of Governance & Transformation, and Head of Project Management Office, overseeing the successful delivery of over 50 projects. Before Mashreq, they held leadership roles at Brown Shipley, Price Forbes & Partners, QA Group, and MRB Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Richard Hughes attended Havering Sixth Form College from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a high school degree in History. Prior to that, they attended Sanders Draper School, where they also earned a high school degree, although the specific field of study is unknown. In addition to their formal education, Richard has obtained additional certifications from LinkedIn, including "Humble Leadership: The Power of Relationships, Openness, and Trust" in November 2022 and "Speaking Confidently and Effectively" in November 2022.
