Group Head Of Data at Howden Group Holdings

Will Hyams has accumulated extensive work experience in various industries and roles throughout their career. Will started their career in 2009 as an Online Policing Strategy consultant for the Dutch Police, where they assisted in developing the national policing web strategy. Following this, they worked for BP as a Global Web Content Management and Cloud Strategy consultant.

In 2010, Hyams joined the Manchester Airport Group, focusing on Innovation Strategy. Will then moved to the HM Revenue & Customs and led the UK Sustainability Strategy project, which aimed to meet new sustainability savings targets.

Hyams also worked for the UK Home Office as a Project Lead and Stakeholder Manager for the Hillsborough Disclosure project, where they were responsible for data strategy and delivery, including sourcing, preparation, and redaction of legacy data. Will created and managed the technical design and bespoke data processes for this government investigation.

From 2006 to 2014, Hyams worked at Atos Consulting, starting as a Practice Lead in Information Management and later leading the Consulting Practice of Information Management and Data consultants. Will owned all aspects of business development, quality management, project delivery, and more.

At KPMG, Hyams served as a Senior Manager, leading audio analytics projects for Tier 1 banks. Will managed teams of data architects and SMEs internationally, overseeing unstructured audio and email analysis within trading activities.

Hyams joined the DMW Group in 2017 as a Managing Consultant, and then in 2018, they joined Howden Group Holdings as a Programme Director. Will later became the Chief Operating Officer of Hyperion X and is currently the Group Head of Data at Howden Group Holdings as of 2022.

Will Hyams attended the University of York from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language & Linguistics. Additionally, in February 2022, they received a Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (PC.dp) from PDP.
