Chris George CMIIA BFP is an experienced professional in risk and assurance, currently serving as the Director of Risk and Assurance at Howdens since October 2014. With a background that includes roles such as Head of Group Internal Audit & Risk and Group Senior Manager, Chris has played a vital role in supporting governance structures and enhancing advisory services within the organization. Previously, Chris worked at BDO UK LLP in the London Audit Group, specializing in the consumer markets sector, and at PwC in various assurance roles.
