Martin Mercer

Martin Mercer is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in user experience and eCommerce design. Currently serving as the Director of User Experience at Howdens since October 2018, Martin previously held the position of Strategic UX & Digital Design Manager at Screwfix from November 2012 to October 2018, where a significant achievement included leading the redesign of Screwfix.com into a unified responsive website. Earlier roles included Senior eCommerce Designer at MAD Productions/Peak Commerce, where Martin worked with notable clients, and Design & Marketing Manager at both Solweb Ltd and Spire Technology Ltd. Martin holds an HND in Design - Animation from Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design.
