Karl Marshall

Karl Marshall currently serves as the Managing Director, Head of Advisory and Analytics APAC at Howden Re, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Karl held the title of Group Chief Actuary at QBE Insurance from June 2019 to February 2024. Karl's extensive experience in the insurance and actuarial sectors includes positions such as Executive and Chief Financial Officer at Quantium, Chief Actuary for General Insurance at Promina, and Consultant at Trowbridge Consulting. Earlier in Karl's career, positions included Superannuation Consultant at William M Mercer and Actuary/Actuarial Analyst at Guardian Royal Exchange. Karl holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Edinburgh, completed between 1987 and 1991.
