Brian Baert

Brian Baert is an experienced educator and researcher at HOWEST University of Applied Sciences, specializing in applied math, data science, and artificial intelligence since September 2007. Brian's roles have included Lecturer of applied math and data science, Program Coordinator for the Bachelor in Applied Computer Science, and a research focus in applied artificial intelligence and Open Source Software. Additional teaching experience spans various computer science subjects, and Brian has held several administrative positions, including Board Member since 2009. Furthermore, Brian has worked in software development and IT training coordination, having earned multiple degrees related to artificial intelligence and computer science, along with language certificates in Spanish and English.
