Ryan John Shea

Chief Metallurgist at Howmet Aerospace

Ryan John Shea has a diverse work experience in the field of metallurgy and engineering. Ryan John started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Penn State University, specializing in epitaxial graphene. Ryan John then gained experience at Arconic as an Alloy Process Engineering Intern before moving on to Ford Motor Company as a Capstone Project Member. After that, they returned to Arconic for various trainee roles in process engineering. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Chief Metallurgist at Howmet Aerospace, where they have previously served as a Plant Metallurgist and Process Engineer.

Ryan John Shea received their Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Penn State University in 2018. In addition, they also hold certifications in ANSI Z136.5 laser from the Laser Institute of America and EMT certification in the state of NY from the New York State Department of Health.
