Kim Jee G. is a scientist with extensive experience in stem cell research and molecular biology. Currently employed at Hoxton Farms since April 2023, Kim previously held a position as Senior Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute (November 2021 - March 2023), focusing on the development of fluorescent reporter lines in human pluripotent stem cells and co-culture systems to study Mycobacterium tuberculosis. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Skin Research Institute of Singapore (November 2017 - October 2021), Kim investigated airway basal cell development and worked on generating CRISPR/Cas9 knockout lines. Earlier roles included Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, where Kim developed protocols for deriving lung basal stem cells, and Research Officer at the Genome Institute of Singapore, exploring pluripotent states in embryonic stem cells. Kim holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and undergraduate degrees from Nanyang Technological University and Nanyang Polytechnic.
