Paul Hughes

Paul Hughes is a seasoned Cyber Security Consultant currently employed at Hoya since November 2025. Previously, Paul held several key roles at BHP, including Cyber Security Project Manager from April 2022 to July 2024 and Project Management Analyst from September 2019 to September 2020. As a Project Management Analyst, responsibilities included serving as the Agile Release Train Engineer for a Cybernetics initiative that automated Infrastructure as a Service, managing dependencies, and facilitating ART events across multiple regions. Prior experience includes positions at Infosys, where Paul managed cyber security initiatives on-site at BHP, and at Orange Business, Dimension Data, Verizon Business, ING Nederland, and Lucent Technologies, where a variety of project management and consulting roles were undertaken, focusing on network security and infrastructure projects. Paul’s educational background includes attendance at Scarisbrick Hall from 1975 to 1983.
