Janet Acheatel

Janet Acheatel, CFP®, CDFA®, RICP®, MBA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience as a Co-Founder and Senior Wealth Advisor at HoyleCohen, LLC since 2011. Janet also serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and a member of the Investment Committee for the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego, where significant philanthropic efforts are coordinated. Prior to these roles, Janet held key positions at Brandes Investment Partners as a Portfolio Manager and had a successful career in client services and management at Nicholas Applegate Capital Management, Lexington Capital Management, and Dean Witter Reynolds. Janet's educational background includes a BA in Education and Speech Science from the University of Rhode Island, an MBA in Finance from National University, a CFP from the College for Financial Planning, and additional certifications in retirement income and divorce financial analysis from The American College of Financial Services and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, respectively.
