Thomas Seifried has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Thomas started their career as a Research Intern at the University of Canterbury in 2005 and later worked as a Research Intern at Lancaster University in 2006. Thomas then joined the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in 2007, where they held the positions of HCI Researcher and Teaching Assistant until 2014. In 2013, Thomas became the Geschäftsführer at w'inspire GmbH. Currently, they are working at Hoylu, where they hold the roles of Senior UX Engineer since 2017 and currently VP Engineering starting from May 2022.

Thomas Seifried completed their education with the following chronology:

From 1995 to 2001, they attended HTL Leonding, where they studied EDV & Organisation.

Starting in 2002, Thomas joined the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Here, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medientechnik & Design, which they completed in 2005.

Continuing their education, they enrolled in the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Digital Media, concluding their studies in 2007.

Finally, Thomas attended Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, beginning in 2007. Thomas focused on Computer Science, undertaking a PhD program, which they completed in 2013.
