Truls Baklid

Truls Baklid is the CEO at Hoylu, a position they have held since August 2019. Prior to that, they were the General Manager, Nordics at ayfie Group from March 2018 to August 2019. Before that, they were the Managing Director at VirtualWorks from February 2010 to February 2018.

Baklid has extensive experience in the search and text analytics industry. Truls has been with VirtualWorks since its inception in 2009 and has played a key role in its growth into one of the leading search companies in the Nordics, Europe, and the United States. Truls has also been instrumental in ayfie Group's expansion into the Nordic market.

Baklid's expertise in linguistics, computational linguistics, and computer science has helped him develop a unique platform that combines best-in-class search technology with an innovative text analytics engine to deliver efficiency and better insights to businesses in all industries in European and American markets.

Truls Baklid holds an MBA in Management & Information Technology from BI Norwegian Business School.
