Martha Leyburn

Martha Leyburn has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies in the food industry. Martha began their career as a Research Scientist and Research Technician at Ault Foods Limited in 1989. Martha then moved to Nestle Ice Cream, Canada in 1996, where they served as a Quality Assurance Manager for four years. In 2000, Martha joined Ice Cream Partners, LLC as a Corporate Quality Assurance Manager. In 2002, they transitioned to Friendly's Ice Cream, LLC as Director of Engineering and Quality Assurance, and later as Quality Assurance Manager. Martha went on to work at Friendly's Retail and Manufacturing, LLC in 2006, holding roles as Senior Director of Manufacturing and later as Vice President of Creamery Operations. In 2018, they joined HP Hood LLC as a Senior Director of Operations and is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations since May 2020.

Martha Leyburn obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Waterloo between 1989 and 1996. Prior to that, they acquired a Science Laboratory Technology Diploma from Fanshawe College from 1986 to 1989. Martha later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Western New England University from 2007 to 2011. Lastly, between 2016 and 2020, they completed a Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership from the same institution.
